Regional Head of Technical Services

About the role

The Regional Head of Technical Services will lead the Technical Services function across the assigned region for UltraTech, the market‑leading cement manufacturer. Reporting to the Zonal Head, you will shape regional strategy, manage a team of Territory Technical Services Managers and drive conversion of competitor brands.

Key responsibilities

• Define regional focus areas, plan activities and allocate budgets for depot‑level technical services.
• Provide market feedback to manufacturing units and monitor competitor activities.
• Support UltraTech Building Solutions (UBS) counters with technical expertise for cement and allied products.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for influencers, consultants and internal teams.
• Analyse call‑centre data and customer satisfaction reports to improve service quality.
• Collect and share competition mapping information with internal stakeholders.
• Prepare regular MIS reports for the Zonal Head and senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical services or product support within the cement or construction sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a regional team.
• Excellent market analysis and budgeting capabilities.
• Ability to interface with manufacturing units, consultants and key influencers.
