Regional Community Manager

About the role

Playo is seeking a hands‑on Regional Community Manager to activate demand across a cluster of cities. You will travel to newly secured venues, organise events and tournaments, and build vibrant local sports communities that turn venues into thriving hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Activate cities where business development has secured venue supply, generating first bookings and repeat play.
• Plan and execute events, tournaments, and community meet‑ups to drive engagement.
• Recruit, train and manage local hosts, captains, and community leaders.
• Partner with venue owners to co‑create programming that fills courts.
• Collaborate with BD, marketing and operations to sequence activations and meet demand targets.
• Track performance metrics (bookings, retention, community growth) and optimise strategies city‑by‑city.
• Represent Playo as the brand face in every activated city.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in community building, event management, on‑ground marketing or regional field operations.
• Willingness to travel extensively; a road‑first mindset.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to run events end‑to‑end.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and comfortable working independently away from HQ.
• Passion for sports and understanding of what brings players together.
• Fluency in the region’s primary languages is a plus.
• Based in or deeply familiar with the target region.
