Red Hat Linux Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Red Hat Linux Administrator to ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of our Linux environments across development, testing, and production. The role involves hands‑on management of RHEL servers and active participation in incident, problem, and change management.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers in enterprise environments.
• Perform OS installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and system hardening.
• Monitor server health, performance, capacity and troubleshoot system‑level issues.
• Manage users, groups, permissions, services, filesystems, processes and system configurations.
• Provide production support and engage in incident, problem and change management activities.
• Implement security best practices, vulnerability remediation and configuration standards.
• Automate routine tasks using Shell scripting and/or Ansible.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and configuration records.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of hands‑on Linux system administration experience, preferably in enterprise production environments.
• Strong expertise in RHEL administration and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of Linux networking, filesystems, storage, DNS, SSH, systemd, processes and permissions.
• Experience with OS patching, server hardening, vulnerability remediation and configuration management.
• Hands‑on experience with Shell scripting and/or Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging and backup tools.
• Experience working in 24x7 production support environments following ITIL‑based processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills; RHCSA/RHCE certification is a plus.
