Red Hat Ansible Engineer

About the role

The Red Hat Ansible Engineer will design, implement, and manage automated configuration and deployment solutions across the organization using Red Hat Ansible. You will collaborate with system administrators, developers, and IT leadership to streamline operations and improve reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement an automation strategy using Ansible, including playbooks and Ansible Tower.
• Manage configuration of servers, networks, and software to meet standards and policies.
• Automate software deployment across development, test, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Ansible environment and related automated tasks.
• Ensure security and compliance by automating patching, hardening, and other security controls.
• Document playbooks, configurations, and procedures; produce regular performance and compliance reports.
• Train and mentor IT staff on Ansible best practices and promote automation adoption.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 3 years managing Ansible environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including participation in on‑call rotations.
• Physical readiness to work in data‑center environments when required.
