Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a professional, confident, and well‑presented Receptionist to join our Baking Science Academy in Lajpat Nagar, South Delhi. As the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and guests, you will help create a warm, organized and professional experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist students, parents, visitors and guests professionally.
• Manage day‑to‑day front‑desk and reception operations.
• Handle incoming calls, WhatsApp messages and basic enquiries.
• Provide information about courses, batches, schedules and academy facilities.
• Coordinate with Admissions, Academic and Operations teams.
• Maintain student records, forms, documents and reception registers.
• Arrange student visits, appointments, meetings and enquiries.
• Assist with routine administrative and coordination work.
• Ensure the reception and student‑facing areas remain professional and welcoming.
• Support the academy team with day‑to‑day operational requirements.

Required profile

• Confident, presentable and well‑spoken.
• Friendly and comfortable interacting with students and visitors.
• Strong command of English and Hindi; Kannada is an advantage.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, email and basic computer applications.
• Well‑organized and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• Professional, punctual and responsible.
• Previous experience in reception, front office, education, hospitality or customer service is preferred.
