Receptionist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests at our Candolim property. You will ensure smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while supporting the wider operations team.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests in person and over the phone, providing a warm welcome.
• Handle reservations, check‑ins, check‑outs and payment processing.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests.
• Maintain accurate front‑desk records, documentation and data entry.
• Address guest concerns promptly and provide information on hotel services, local attractions and transport options.
• Work shifts, including weekends and holidays, ensuring consistent front‑desk coverage.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service and communication abilities.
• Professional phone etiquette and clerical skills (record‑keeping, data entry).
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with reservation or PMS software and email tools.
• Previous experience in hospitality or front‑office roles is a plus.
• Service‑oriented mindset with problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to work flexible shifts and remain calm during busy periods.
• Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is advantageous.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training or certification is a plus.
