Rebar Detailer, Estimator & Checker

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Rebar Detailer, Estimator and Checker to support our projects in Madurai and Trichy. The successful candidate will work on reinforced concrete structures, preparing bar bending schedules, estimating quantities and ensuring design compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze structural blueprints to calculate reinforcing steel quantities and types.
• Prepare cost estimates and material take‑offs for project bids.
• Identify cost‑saving alternatives and material risks from specifications.
• Create placing drawings showing steel layout, bending details and installation instructions.
• Generate material lists with lengths, weights and bending schedules for fabrication.
• Coordinate with engineers and architects to resolve design conflicts before fabrication.
• Verify placing drawings and bending schedules against structural plans, flagging errors or missing data.
• Approve finalized details to ensure compliance with codes, standards and specifications.

Required profile

• 2 to 7 years of experience in rebar detailing, estimation and BBS preparation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and dedicated rebar detailing software.
• Strong understanding of reinforced concrete structures and construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately.
• Good analytical, communication and coordination abilities.
• Capability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
