ReactJS Developer – Front-End Engineer

About the role

Capgemini Engineering is looking for an experienced ReactJS Developer to join its Mysuru team. You will work on modern digital experiences, turning UI/UX designs into high‑performance web applications that power innovative solutions for global clients.

Key responsibilities

• Transform UI/UX wireframes and mock‑ups into clean, reusable, and maintainable React code.
• Develop responsive, user‑friendly interfaces using ReactJS, Redux, and TypeScript.
• Build reusable components and implement efficient state‑management solutions.
• Integrate front‑end applications with REST APIs and backend services.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability across devices and browsers.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Write and maintain unit tests with Jest and React Testing Library.

Required profile

• 6–10 years of front‑end development experience.
• Strong expertise in ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), and modern front‑end architecture.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Experience with Redux or Context API for state management.
• Solid understanding of React component lifecycle, hooks, and functional programming concepts.
• Hands‑on experience consuming REST APIs and working with JSON.
• Familiarity with Git and build tools such as Webpack, Vite, or Babel.
