React Native Software Engineer

About the role

Swiggy is seeking a React Native Software Development Engineer I to build and enhance mobile experiences for millions of users across India. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and senior developers to deliver high‑quality, performant mobile applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user‑facing features for Swiggy’s consumer mobile apps using React Native.
• Write clean, reusable, and scalable components that work consistently across Android devices.
• Translate product and design specifications into robust technical implementations.
• Ensure applications remain performant, responsive, and reliable at scale.
• Participate in sprint planning, feature estimation, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Debug issues, optimise performance bottlenecks, and improve app responsiveness.
• Contribute to testing strategies through unit tests and automated quality checks.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on React Native.
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals, component architecture, hooks, and state‑management patterns.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced consumer‑technology environment.
