React Frontend Developer (React/NextJS)

About the role

Orion Innovation is seeking a skilled Front End Engineer to design and build high‑quality, production‑ready React/Next.js single‑page applications. You will work within an Agile team, collaborating with both technical and non‑technical colleagues to deliver modern, performant web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Create prototypes and production‑ready React/Next.js front‑end applications.
• Write clean, modular code with reusable components and libraries.
• Implement unit, end‑to‑end and regression tests using Jest, React Testing Library and Cypress.
• Participate in code reviews, ensure accessibility, performance and SEO best practices.
• Integrate with third‑party systems and support existing platform integrations.
• Maintain fluid responsive layouts and cross‑browser/device compatibility.

Required profile

• Solid commercial experience in hands‑on React development.
• Familiarity with serverless and server‑side development using Next.js.
• Strong grasp of state‑management patterns such as Redux or Flux.
• Experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS) and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Comfortable working in Agile environments and using Git with CI pipelines.
