R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an experienced software engineer to join the AVEVA Enterprise Resource Management team in Hyderabad. You will work on desktop, cloud and web applications that support capital project construction, design and delivery, collaborating with a global team to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owner, architects, senior developers and the Scrum team to define and implement solutions for on‑premise and AWS Cloud environments.
• Participate in all Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives and reviews.
• Write clean, well‑tested code that meets coding standards and is fully documented.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer‑reported and internal issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the product.
• Contribute to moving the product toward a cloud‑native architecture.
• Suggest innovative technical solutions and take part in internal hackathon events.

Required profile

• 8‑12 years of hands‑on software development experience, primarily in C#.
• Strong understanding of clean‑code principles, SOLID, and design patterns.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems, research technical solutions and learn continuously.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross‑functional teams.
