R&D Member of Technical Staff II – Technical Writing

About the role

Join AVEVA’s global technical writing group as an R&D Member of Technical Staff II. You will work with software engineers to create, review, and publish high‑quality documentation for industrial automation and engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Learn complex technical material through self‑learning, training, and shadowing senior writers.
• Work with minimal supervision on advanced, unstructured, and complex documentation tasks.
• Improve content quality, follow established standards, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Design, develop, review, and publish technical documentation for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in technical writing and documentation development.
• Experience with industrial software products and solutions.
• Experience working in global agile and DevOps teams.
• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of software product development and cloud computing services.
