Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Dfine Builders & Constructions is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Quantity Surveyor to join its team in Malappuram. You will play a key part in preparing Bills of Quantities, estimating costs and supporting budgeting for residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed measurements.
• Estimate project costs, develop forecasts and financial plans.
• Track project expenditures, monitor cost variances and produce regular cost reports.
• Assist with tender documentation, evaluate contractor and supplier quotations.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and site teams to maintain financial control.
• Support risk assessment, value engineering and continuous improvement of cost‑management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience preparing BOQs, quantity take‑off and detailed measurement.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with construction contracts, tendering processes and local building regulations.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills for on‑site multidisciplinary collaboration.
