Quality Manager – Food & Beverage

About the role

The Quality Manager will partner with the unit team to strengthen and sustain quality systems across raw material, packaging, liquids and finished goods. The role ensures end‑to‑end compliance with regulatory standards and drives continuous improvement in a food‑processing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead unit‑level quality operations, including end‑of‑line inspections and raw‑material checks.
• Conduct root‑cause investigations and drive corrective actions for quality issues.
• Develop and deliver training on quality topics and maintain ISO 9001/22000 certifications.
• Plan and execute internal audits, manage CAPA processes, and ensure timely reporting to senior leadership.
• Monitor key performance indicators such as defect rates, audit scores, and customer complaint resolution.

Required profile

• Post‑graduate degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology or related field.
• 6‑8 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Systems within food processing, FMCG, distillery, brewery or beverage industries.
• Proven ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Quality Management Systems.
• Development and control of quality‑related SOPs.
• Certified lead auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 22000.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• CAPA methodology and root‑cause problem‑solving techniques.
