Quality Management System (QMS) Executive

About the role

The Quality Management System (QMS) Executive will lead the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company’s quality management system. Based on-site in Daman, the role works closely with production, operations, and senior management to ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Document, update, and control quality procedures and records.
• Monitor compliance with quality protocols and prepare reports for audits and certifications.
• Conduct internal audits, track non‑conformities, and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to standardize processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide training on quality practices and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management or related field.
• Experience in mining, metals or heavy‑industry environments is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and structured record‑keeping.
• Ability to work on‑site in Daman and follow safety protocols.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO‑based quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Experience with internal audits and CAPA processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint for documentation and reporting.
• Documentation control and process standardisation.
