Quality Management Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Quality Management Specialist to lead the implementation of an ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) across the organization. The role is pivotal for achieving initial certification, maintaining compliance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end implementation of ISO 9001:2015, including gap analysis and documentation of policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Coordinate internal audits, support external certification audits, and act as the primary liaison with certification bodies such as NABCB‑accredited auditors or international agencies.
• Train employees and department heads on ISO requirements and quality best practices.
• Monitor key quality indicators, manage non‑conformities, conduct risk assessments, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Prepare the organization for surveillance and recertification audits, ensuring ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or a related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience implementing ISO 9001 and leading a company in India through its first certification.
• Experience conducting internal audits; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills with the ability to train and influence stakeholders at all levels.
