Quality Lead

About the role

The Quality Lead will drive the implementation and maintenance of robust quality systems for Isha Life’s food products. This role ensures that all products meet stringent quality, safety and regulatory standards while supporting new product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) across procurement, production, packaging and dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP and other food safety regulations; prepare documentation for audits and inspections.
• Lead corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and conduct root‑cause analysis for quality issues.
• Analyse quality data, customer complaints and non‑conformities to drive process improvements.
• Evaluate supplier performance, conduct supplier audits and collaborate with procurement to resolve quality concerns.
• Support product development teams by validating product quality during trials and establishing testing protocols for new launches.
• Lead and mentor the quality team, deliver training and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Prepare quality dashboards, reports and KPI monitoring; lead internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food‑industry quality assurance or quality control.
• Strong knowledge of FSSAI, GMP, HACCP and related regulatory frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with root‑cause analysis, CAPA and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with production, procurement and R&D teams.
