Quality Junior Engineer III

About the role

The Quality Junior Engineer III supports the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, processes, and standards at Jabil. This role helps ensure product quality and regulatory compliance throughout the product lifecycle. The engineer works closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply‑chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and improve quality control plans and procedures.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for quality issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.
• Assist in preparing and executing internal and external audits to ensure ISO and regulatory compliance.
• Collect, analyze, and report quality data, identifying trends and key metrics.
• Support inspection and testing of incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished products.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality‑related problems.
• Document and control quality records, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Participate in new product introduction activities, integrating quality considerations early in design.
• Provide training and guidance on quality standards and procedures to production personnel.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related technical field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Basic understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485.
• Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, SPC).
• Proficiency in data analysis and basic statistical methods.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
