About the role
The Quality Control Officer will work in a pharmaceutical laboratory to ensure that stability and finished product samples meet regulatory and internal quality standards. The role involves analytical testing, data reporting, and maintaining critical laboratory equipment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze stability and finished product samples and compile reports following ALCOA procedures.
- Perform testing on miscellaneous samples and document results.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments such as dissolution testing apparatus, UV spectrophotometer, analytical balance, pH meter, and sonicator.
- Ensure compliance with data integrity policies and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Operate and monitor stability chambers and associated tracking systems.
- Manage charging and withdrawal of stability samples according to approved protocols.
Required profile
- Educational background: B.Pharm, M.Sc., or M.Pharm.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in pharmaceutical quality control or related laboratory work.
Required skills
- Operation of UV spectrophotometer.
- Dissolution testing apparatus proficiency.
- Use of analytical balances.
- pH meter handling.
- Sonicator operation.
- Stability chamber management.
- ALCOA reporting methodology.
