Quality Control Engineer – Civil Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Engineer specialized in civil infrastructure to lead QC activities for water‑related projects, EPC contracts, and construction works. The role ensures that all deliverables meet client specifications, regulatory standards, and internal quality policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and control project quality system documentation before project start‑up.
• Develop and implement SOPs, ITPs, and QA manuals for site and laboratory activities.
• Conduct concrete mix design (5‑90 MPa) including trials with micro‑silica, fly ash, GGBS, and fibers.
• Perform lab tests on concrete ingredients and oversee raw‑material, in‑process, and final inspections.
• Attend client quality meetings, coordinate requirements with stakeholders, and track quality metrics using digital tools.
• Monitor non‑conformance reports, manage vendor quality, and provide training to the QA team.
• Liaise with external laboratories and certification bodies for specialized testing.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least 5 years of QC experience, or a Diploma in Civil with 8 years of experience.
• Qualified internal auditor for ISO 9001 Quality Management.
• Hands‑on experience in water‑wastewater, storm‑water, and drainage projects.
• Familiarity with international codes, IS standards, and construction regulations.
