Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will support operational excellence across manufacturing sites by implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS). The role involves close collaboration with franchise units to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement QMS and follow Quality Manuals issued by the central team at all sites.
• Ensure chemical and microbiological analyses of product water are performed as per BIS and UB specifications.
• Maintain and submit records of raw water and finished‑product analyses, packaging quality index, and quality complaints.
• Highlight non‑conformities, drive corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely reporting.
• Visit manufacturing facilities regularly, generate reports, and resolve quality complaints within defined timeframes.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to site technicians, organize quality‑control awareness meetings, and train shop‑floor staff.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance of inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
• Oversee proper operation of water‑treatment plants, including cleaning and sanitation.

Required profile

• Ability to work closely with franchise units and support business objectives.
• Experience in conducting and reviewing chemical and microbiological analyses.
• Strong record‑keeping and reporting skills.
• Capability to lead training sessions and develop corrective action plans.
• Attention to detail in monitoring quality parameters and handling complaints.
