Quality Assurance Manager – Medical Communications

About the role

Hansa Medcell is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the review of all medical communication deliverables. The role ensures scientific integrity, regulatory compliance, and editorial excellence across a range of content types.

Key responsibilities

• Detect and correct grammatical, spelling, and typographical errors while enforcing style guides such as AMA and client‑specific rules.
• Validate the factual accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of medical and scientific information against clinical study reports, product labels, and peer‑reviewed literature.
• Conduct plagiarism checks, verify citations, and manage reference folders using Vancouver style and client formats.
• Ensure adherence to internal SOPs and global regulatory codes (FDA, EMA, ABPI, IPHA), including proper inclusion of prescribing information and safety statements.
• Review tables, figures, and infographics for clarity, correct labeling, numbering, legends, and accessibility standards.
• Perform reviews within Veeva Vault PromoMats, following defined workflows, timelines, and metadata validation.
• Collaborate with medical writers, designers, compliance, and marketing teams, providing evidence‑based feedback and escalating quality concerns as needed.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of medical writing standards.
• Experience in reviewing scientific content for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across functions.
