Quality Assurance Engineer – Software Testing

About the role

Sandvik’s Intelligent Manufacturing division is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to validate the quality and reliability of SigmaNEST, a leading CAD/CAM software solution. You will work closely with product owners, developers, and global stakeholders to ensure the software meets both business and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create, execute, and maintain test cases and scenarios for new features, enhancements, and regression cycles.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing on Windows desktop applications.
• Validate SigmaNEST functionality against defined requirements and release‑readiness criteria.
• Identify, document, reproduce, and verify software defects throughout the development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate issues and verify fixes.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support engineering and application teams in troubleshooting customer‑reported problems.

Required profile

• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Ability to analyze product features and workflows to uncover usability or functional issues.
• Strong attention to detail and systematic approach to testing.
