Quality Assurance Engineer – Gaming

About the role

Appsoleut Games is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Assurance Engineer who loves gaming and strives for flawless player experiences. You will lead testing for mobile and online games, collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end QA activities for Android, iOS, and web‑based games.
• Plan, design, and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, sanity, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, report, prioritize, and track bugs across gameplay, UI/UX, performance, security, and compatibility.
• Validate game mechanics, scoring logic, in‑game economy, and monetisation flows.
• Test updates, live events, rewards, leader‑boards, multiplayer features, and releases.
• Ensure consistent gameplay across devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
• Mentor junior QA testers and maintain QA documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1‑2 years of QA testing experience, preferably in gaming or mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile processes.
• Hands‑on experience with manual testing of mobile and online games.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Passion for games and deep knowledge of player behaviour.

Required skills

• Experience with bug‑tracking and project‑management tools.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium or Appium (a plus).
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• Knowledge of testing casual, arcade, card, real‑time, or multiplayer games.
