QMS Manager – Quality Management System Lead

About the role

The Quality Management System (QMS) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the organization’s QMS to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulatory requirements. This role drives continuous improvement and supports cross‑functional teams in delivering high‑quality products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS, including quality policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct internal audits, manage corrective actions, and oversee certification and customer audits.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with all departments to identify, assess, and mitigate quality risks.
• Train employees on quality procedures and promote awareness across the organization.
• Manage document control, records, and reporting related to quality activities.
• Interface with customers, external auditors, and regulatory agencies as required.
• Oversee the training and development system aligned with various departmental needs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing a Quality Management System within an industrial or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Demonstrated ability to lead audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Experience in training staff on quality procedures and maintaining document control.
