QA & QC Engineer – Hydropower & Pumped Storage Projects

About the role

The QA & QC Engineer will support the implementation and monitoring of quality assurance and quality control procedures for construction activities on a pumped‑storage hydropower project. Based on site in Panaura, the role ensures that all work complies with approved drawings, specifications and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections of civil works and related installations.
• Verify material quality against specifications and approved submittals.
• Witness and document testing activities, including concrete and structural tests.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC records and documentation.
• Monitor laboratory activities and ensure test results meet project requirements.
• Review Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for compliance.
• Report non‑conformance reports (NCRs) and track corrective actions.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Prepare regular quality reports for project stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in QA/QC for civil or infrastructure projects.
