QA Engineer, Automation

About the role

BETSOL is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to lead automation testing for its consumer‑facing websites. You will ensure each release meets high quality standards, works correctly, and provides a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, document and maintain QA automation suites.
• Perform functional testing, data validation and regression testing.
• Create and improve QA standards, best practices and processes.
• Execute automation tests, investigate failures and drive follow‑up work.
• Design and guide testing tasks, ensuring clean releases.
• Identify, analyze and prioritize issues.
• Participate in Scrum activities such as backlog refinement, sprint planning and daily stand‑ups.
• Collaborate with developers, QA peers and marketing teams.
• Create and maintain test cases, converting them to automated tests when appropriate.
• Log bugs and report results using Jira and Confluence.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of QA automation experience using Playwright, Selenium, JavaScript and Python.
• At least 2 years of QA work with CMS platforms (Sitecore, AEM, DNN, Umbraco, Drupal); Sitecore experience highly preferred.
• Strong technical ability to write and run test scripts across diverse applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a Scrum team.
