Python Developer (Hybrid, Mumbai)

About the role

We are looking for a Python Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable backend applications for our global clients. The role focuses on building robust APIs, handling data processing, and ensuring high‑quality code in a hybrid work environment based in Mumbai.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Python and Django.
• Develop and optimise database queries, stored procedures and ensure efficient data handling.
• Write unit tests with PyTest and maintain test coverage.
• Parse XML files and manage file‑based workflows.
• Apply data‑structures, algorithms and OOP principles to solve complex problems.
• Collaborate in Agile pods, participate in sprint planning and code reviews.
• Contribute to service design, functional development and performance tuning.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of professional experience in Python backend development.
• B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and good written/oral communication.
• Ability to join within 30 days and work in a hybrid setting.
