Python Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer to join our Product Development team, focusing on innovation, engineering excellence, and simplifying cloud for customers. The role involves designing and building micro‑services and APIs that power our SaaS and PaaS Analytics‑as‑a‑Service product.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, reusable code with comments, unit tests, and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, delivery, QA, product, and design teams.
• Build secure, scalable back‑end systems that deliver real‑world value.
• Stay curious and up‑to‑date on emerging technologies.
• Promote usability best practices and code reusability.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of software development experience, including 4+ years with Python 3.x and Django/Flask.
• Experience with microservices‑based and modern cloud architectures.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into working features with minimal oversight.
• Self‑motivated with a drive to complete tasks within realistic time frames.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Python 3.x, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Celery, SQLAlchemy.
• Relational databases (SQL/ORM).
• Microservices architecture.
• Azure cloud platform (development & deployment), Azure Data Factory, Databricks.
• Familiarity with front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Integration with enterprise applications and unit testing.
