Purchasing Executive – Hotel Procurement

About the role

The Purchase Executive manages the hotel’s procurement activities, ensuring timely availability of quality materials, competitive pricing, and effective vendor management. This role supports smooth hotel operations by sourcing food & beverage supplies, operating equipment, guest supplies, engineering materials, and other requirements while maintaining cost control and compliance with purchasing policies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily purchasing activities aligned with hotel operational needs.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain competitive prices and quality products.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with approved vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare purchase recommendations.
• Ensure procurement follows hotel standards, specifications, and approved vendor lists.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and product quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in hotel purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of hotel purchasing procedures, vendor management, and cost control.
• Experience sourcing food & beverage, housekeeping supplies, engineering materials, and operating equipment preferred.
