Purchase & Store Executive

About the role

The Purchase & Store Executive ensures the seamless flow of goods and materials for hotel operations. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and maintain optimal inventory levels to support all departments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and process purchase orders according to operational needs.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Ensure timely procurement to avoid operational disruptions.
• Maintain optimal stock levels and oversee inventory control in coordination with store teams.
• Verify invoices and coordinate with the Accounts team for prompt payments.
• Confirm that all purchased goods meet required quality standards.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and vendor details.
• Coordinate with internal departments such as F&B, Housekeeping, and Engineering for material requirements.
• Develop and sustain strong vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Purchase & Store Executive in a star hotel.
• Solid knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Commitment to company policies and brand standards.
