Purchase Manager (MEP & Facility Management)

About the role

The Purchase Manager is responsible for end‑to‑end sourcing, negotiation and procurement of products and services required for building infrastructure, specifically Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systems and facility management. The role ensures best pricing, timely delivery and compliance with regulatory and company policies while managing vendor relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze technical and commercial aspects of MEP‑related products and services, including Electrical, HVAC and PHE, to support engineering and construction projects.
• Identify, evaluate and approve standard and potential vendors, maintaining an up‑to‑date vendor registry for infrastructure needs.
• Conduct cost‑control activities, break down pricing components and negotiate favorable terms within budget constraints.
• Review, sign and forward purchase orders according to authority limits, ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
• Handle procurement for both infrastructure and revenue‑generating requests, coordinating receipt, payment and escalation resolution.
• Research market trends, new technologies and alternative products to achieve better corporate pricing and introduce latest solutions.
• Monitor vendor performance using SAP, update ratings and address requester complaints to improve service quality.
• Manage customs and duty‑free clearance procedures in line with STPI/SEZ regulations.
