Purchase Manager

About the role

Accor is looking for a strategic and detail‑oriented Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations in Kochi, India. You will be responsible for driving efficiency, cost optimisation and supplier excellence across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement policies, procedures and strategies aligned with organisational goals.
• Forecast procurement needs together with department heads to ensure timely sourcing of goods and services.
• Establish and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, vendors and contractors, considering local market dynamics.
• Manage purchasing systems and approval workflows, ensuring accurate purchase orders, supplier setup, pricing, contract terms and approval limits.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and terms to achieve optimal value, quality and service levels.
• Source and evaluate new suppliers and products to enhance quality, efficiency, sustainability and innovation.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve delivery discrepancies, pricing variances and invoice queries.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within a hospitality or large‑scale operations environment.
• Strong analytical and forecasting abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to build and sustain supplier relationships.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on compliance and process improvement.
