Purchase Manager – Construction Procurement

About the role

Upasna Group is seeking a full‑time Purchase Manager to lead procurement activities for its construction projects in Jaipur. The role involves managing the complete sourcing cycle, from vendor identification to delivery, ensuring that materials meet quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for construction‑related supplies.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, and service terms to achieve cost‑effective purchasing.
• Create and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve supply issues.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast material needs in collaboration with project and finance teams.
• Assess supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Implement cost‑saving initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within real‑estate, construction, or infrastructure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field; postgraduate qualifications or certifications are a plus.
• Strong analytical, budgeting, and cost‑analysis capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
