Public Relations Specialist

About the role

The Public Relations Specialist will join AKME Fintrade’s communications team in Udaipur to shape and protect the brand’s reputation within the financial services sector. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on creating and executing PR strategies that align with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies.
• Draft, edit and distribute press releases for news, events and product updates.
• Coordinate media outreach and maintain strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
• Organise press conferences, briefings and other media events.
• Monitor media coverage and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
• Manage PR content across owned channels and support strategic communication initiatives.
• Respond to media queries and assist with crisis communication as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations and media relations, preferably in financial services or NBFCs.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Hindi is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or a related field.
• Comfort working with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.
