Public Relations Specialist – Entertainment (Mumbai)

About the role

Amazon Prime Video is seeking an experienced entertainment public‑relations professional to lead publicity campaigns for its growing slate of original, exclusive and licensed content in India. Based in Mumbai and reporting to the Head of Communications for Prime Video India, you will drive earned‑media coverage and shape conversation around series, films, unscripted programming and live sports.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute PR campaigns for locally produced Amazon Originals, licensed titles and select global series.
• Draft press materials such as releases, media alerts, talking points, Q&As and briefing documents.
• Pitch stories to news and digital outlets to secure high‑impact coverage.
• Plan and manage publicity events including premieres, junkets, set visits and talent interviews.
• Coordinate logistics, media access and on‑ground support for talent‑led moments.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, talent teams, production partners and external agency partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience in entertainment public relations, preferably within the Indian market.
• Exceptional judgment, concise communication and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong writing skills with a track record of producing compelling press materials.
• Deep knowledge of India’s media landscape and the ability to identify resonant stories.
• Hands‑on attitude, willing to take on tasks beyond the core remit.
