About the role

Essence Innovation is seeking a Public Relations Manager to lead PR initiatives for its AI‑powered health app. Based on‑site in Chandigarh, you will shape the company’s public image, support product adoption, and work closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and distribute press releases and key announcements.
• Coordinate media outreach, interviews, and briefings with journalists and partners.
• Develop and execute strategic communication plans aligned with business goals.
• Monitor media coverage, respond to inquiries, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to synchronize PR activities with campaign timelines.
• Maintain positive relationships with media outlets and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong background in public relations and media relations.
• Proven experience crafting press releases and strategic communications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional experience in PR, communications, or related fields, preferably within technology, digital health, or startups.
• Ability to develop and execute PR plans, manage multiple projects, and work cross‑functionally.
• Understanding of digital and social media channels for reputation management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
