Public Relations Manager

About the role

PhonePe is looking for a Public Relations Manager to shape and drive its external communications narrative. The role requires a sharp writer and confident communicator who can work across corporate and agency environments, ideally with startup experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the PR head and business stakeholders to maintain the PR calendar.
• Conceptualize, plan, execute and analyse PR campaigns, recommending improvements.
• Manage end‑to‑end execution of announcements and media outreach.
• Oversee external agency deliverables and track performance.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships with internal and external partners.
• Advise leadership on messaging, appropriate forums and communication channels.
• Create compelling stories using long‑form and digital formats.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree or diploma in communications.
• 6‑7 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Good understanding of the media landscape.
• Proven ability to identify and work with external partners and agencies.
• Strong multitasking, organizational and time‑management skills.
• Team‑player attitude with a willingness to learn and grow.
