Public Relations Manager – BFSI

About the role

We are looking for a PR Manager to lead media relations for our BFSI portfolio, crafting stories and securing coverage in business and financial outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Own media relations for BFSI clients, pitching stories and securing interviews, bylines and features.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with business journalists, editors and TV producers across print, digital and broadcast.
• Plan and execute PR strategies around results, funding rounds, product launches, regulatory developments and leadership visibility.
• Draft press releases, media statements, briefing notes, Q&As and thought‑leadership articles.
• Coordinate spokespersons for interviews and media briefings, monitor coverage and report outcomes.
• Support crisis and issues communication with speed and sound judgement.

Required profile

• 2‑4 years of experience in a PR agency or corporate communications with hands‑on exposure to BFSI clients.
• Strong, active media relationships with business and financial journalists – the most important requirement.
• Working understanding of financial markets and regulatory sensitivities such as SEBI and RBI guidelines.
• Excellent written communication, able to turn complex financial updates into journalist‑friendly stories.
• Confidence managing multiple client accounts with strong organisation and follow‑through.
• Comfort in a fast‑paced, on‑site, collaborative environment.
