Public Relations Executive

About the role

Dharma Media Consultants is seeking a dynamic Public Relations Executive to support its boutique brand‑building services for private equity, venture capital and startup clients. The role will involve crafting compelling stories, managing media relations and supporting social‑media initiatives across India.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute PR strategies for client partners in PE, VC and startup sectors.
• Build and maintain relationships with print, TV, online and lifestyle media outlets nationwide.
• Pitch story ideas, secure coverage and monitor media mentions.
• Write press releases, authored articles, social media posts and other communication assets.
• Coordinate with client partners and internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Support team members and contribute to brainstorming sessions for innovative campaigns.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in PR, preferably within startup, technology or corporate environments.
• Proven track record of securing media coverage in business, tech and lifestyle outlets.
• Strong network of contacts in national, local and vernacular media across India.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive, organized and a collaborative team player.
