Public Relations Account Manager – BFSI

About the role

Concept PR is seeking an experienced Public Relations Account Manager to lead BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Fintech & Financial Markets) client work from its Mumbai office. You will own high‑impact communication mandates, translate business objectives into compelling narratives, and drive measurable PR results for leading financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage day‑to‑day PR mandates for BFSI clients, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Develop and execute communication plans, media strategies, and monthly calendars aligned with client business goals.
• Identify and convert business developments, regulatory changes, and market trends into PR opportunities.
• Craft narratives around product launches, financial performance, leadership announcements, and industry trends.
• Maintain and grow relationships with business, financial, mainstream, TV, digital and trade journalists; pitch stories and secure high‑quality coverage.
• Coordinate interviews, media briefings, and journalist interactions.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with senior leadership.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of PR or strategic communications experience, preferably within the BFSI sector.
• Strong understanding of banking, insurance, fintech, asset management and related regulatory environments.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships, lead projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
• Ambitious, driven and capable of working autonomously while supporting team growth.
