Public Relations Account Manager – Bangalore

About the role

The Public Relations Account Manager will join The PRactice’s Bangalore office to lead client accounts, develop and execute PR strategies, and act as the primary liaison for client communications. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on enhancing brand reputation and visibility across the auto, mobility and aviation sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day client relationships and serve as the main point of contact.
• Develop, write and edit press releases, media kits and other external communication materials.
• Coordinate media outreach, maintain relationships with journalists and influencers, and secure coverage.
• Monitor media coverage, prepare performance reports and provide strategic counsel to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams on new business pitches and ensure timely delivery of all commitments.
• Support business development initiatives and contribute to agency growth.

Required profile

• Strong background in public relations and media relations, preferably within the auto, mobility or aviation industries.
• Demonstrated account management experience in an agency or corporate communications setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas confidently.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and capable of handling multiple accounts and deadlines.

• Competence in basic office productivity software.
