Public Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

Join Bosch's Digital Public Cloud Services team as a Public Cloud Platform Engineer. You will support the operation and delivery of cloud services across Azure, AWS, and GCP, ensuring reliable and secure platform performance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incidents and service requests for public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Process IT Service Provider (ITSP) requests within defined SLAs.
• Perform annual metadata reviews and manage cloud subscriptions, accounts, and projects.
• Execute lifecycle management of cloud resources, including creation, modification, deletion, and de‑commissioning.
• Manage expiry date extensions for subscriptions, accounts, and projects.
• Prepare monthly service delivery KPI reports and internal charging data for cloud workloads.
• Support cloud cost‑optimization and security initiatives.
• Coordinate with cloud vendors and internal stakeholders for issue resolution and escalations.
• Conduct platform‑specific operational reviews and governance tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science.
• 2–3 years of experience working with public cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and ticketing/vendor case handling.
• Solid fundamentals in IT infrastructure.
• Good understanding of cloud cost optimization and security.
