Project Manager – Transmission Line & Substation

About the role

Lead the complete PMC assignment for transmission line, HVAC substations and HVDC terminal station packages, ensuring safe delivery within scope, schedule, budget and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the principal liaison between the consultant, client, EPC contractors, OEMs and other stakeholders.
• Establish the Project Execution Plan, organization structure, responsibility matrix and reporting arrangements.
• Review and monitor contractor schedules, procurement plans, construction methodology and commissioning programmes.
• Coordinate interfaces across civil, electrical, mechanical, protection, SCADA, telecom, quality, HSE and contractual domains.
• Monitor progress against milestones, identify deviations and drive recovery or acceleration plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in EHV transmission line and substation projects.
• Proven leadership of at least one major 400 kV/765 kV transmission or substation project.
• Experience with HVDC, GIS, large power transformers, reactors and control & protection systems preferred.
