Project Manager - Store Planning

About the role

As Project Manager, Store Planning India, you will join Chanel's Regional Boutique Architecture team to deliver architectural and design projects for fashion, watches, and fine jewelry boutiques across India. The role involves managing new boutique openings, renovations, extensions, refurbishments, and maintenance projects on a fixed‑term basis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple architectural and interior‑design projects simultaneously, each with its own timeline, approval process, and reporting requirements.
• Lead project phases from due diligence and design development through construction, cost management, opening, and after‑care.
• Coordinate projects in standalone buildings, shopping malls, and historically protected sites, ensuring compliance with Chanel’s global architectural standards, brand image, sustainability commitments, budgets, and timelines.
• Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders (finance, legal, real estate, procurement, operations, sustainability) and external partners (landlords, local authorities, consultants, contractors, local architects).
• Prepare and maintain structured project documentation, schedules, budgets, feasibility studies, and reporting tools, delivering clear and accurate project updates.

• Highly structured, organized, and analytical approach.
• Strong project‑management discipline with proven data and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across regional and global teams, including the Global Boutique Architecture Team.
