Project Manager – Power Systems (EHV Substation & Switchyard)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – Power Systems to lead the planning, execution, monitoring and delivery of Extra‑High‑Voltage (EHV) Substation and Switchyard projects (220kV & 400kV). The position is based at our Head Office and focuses on end‑to‑end project lifecycle management from initiation to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive execution plans, define scope, milestones, resources and timelines.
• Create and maintain multi‑level schedules (L1‑L4) using MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, finance, quality and execution teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Track performance against schedule, budget and quality targets; manage risks and mitigation actions.
• Prepare budgets, monitor costs, support commercial reviews and financial reporting.
• Serve as primary interface with clients, consultants and vendors; conduct review meetings and provide progress updates.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, client specifications and industry codes; support audits and corrective actions.
• Maintain project documentation, risk registers, MIS reports and closure reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering 220kV and 400kV substation or switchyard projects.
• Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and EPC project lifecycle.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from a head‑office environment.
• Excellent coordination, stakeholder management and communication skills.
