Project Manager – Mobility Solutions

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead key mobility projects in Nashik. You will act as the bridge between technical teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope with stakeholders and develop detailed work plans and schedules.
• Monitor timeline, cost, quality, and KPIs such as CAPEX, OPEX, and target cost index.
• Collaborate with headquarters and cross‑functional teams to drive execution excellence.
• Identify critical paths in supply chain, capacity, and localization, and implement mitigation measures.
• Manage vendor relationships and technology infrastructure requirements.
• Make make‑or‑buy decisions based on cost, capacity, and technology analysis.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Electrical engineering background with 10–15 years of project management experience.
• Proven experience in engineering or manufacturing of traction motors and gearboxes.
• Strong communication skills in English and at least B2 level in German.
• Ability to work effectively with multicultural teams, especially in Germany and the USA.
