Project Manager – Market & Counterparty Credit Risk

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of a global Risk transformation portfolio, focusing on Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk initiatives. The role will manage multiple workstreams, ensure regulatory compliance, and align outcomes with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define, agree, and manage project scope with senior stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain robust project plans, incorporating resources and dependencies.
• Lead multiple concurrent workstreams, delivering on time and within budget.
• Establish success criteria and KPIs for each phase and track progress.
• Monitor cross‑project dependencies, proactively manage risks and issues.
• Ensure adherence to project governance frameworks, standards, and protocols.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders, business users, IT, and global teams; provide clear status reporting.
• Lead governance forums and executive updates with concise communication.
• Translate regulatory requirements into business deliverables and act as a business gatekeeper for IT priorities.
• Mentor and support delivery teams to maintain high performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a delivery‑focused Project Manager in the risk domain.
• Strong understanding of front‑to‑back risk processes and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and promote consistency across risk initiatives.
