Project Manager - Localization Engineer

About the role

RWS is seeking a Project Manager – Localization Engineer to lead software localization initiatives. You will act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of software localization projects, coordinating engineering, QA and translation activities.
• Plan localization milestones, software engineering and QA tasks to meet project timelines.
• Drive client communication, prepare meeting agendas, provide status updates and track action items.
• Collaborate with program managers, developers, subject‑matter experts and localization engineers.
• Coordinate with internal support teams for resource planning and execution.
• Oversee financial aspects including cost tracking, budgeting, quoting, forecasting, monthly deliveries and invoicing.
• Identify process improvements and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Manage customer feedback and ensure timely issue resolution to maintain client satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a software localization project manager.
• Highly organized, self‑driven and able to work independently.
• Hands‑on experience in financial management (quoting, budgeting, invoicing, cost tracking).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to perform effectively under tight deadlines and pressure.
