Project Manager – Embedded Software

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited, a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead embedded software projects in Bangalore.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives and goals.
• Manage scope, time, quality, risk and stakeholder expectations.
• Create an empowered Scrum team and identify skill gaps.
• Mentor team members and oversee career progression.
• Plan and assess project associates' goals and annual performance.
• Maintain project plans, risk registers and scheduling tools (MPP, Prime, Planisware).
• Handle conflict resolution, presentations and stakeholder communication.

Required profile

• 10‑13 years of experience in embedded software development, testing and project management.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electronics/Electrical engineering.
• Proven experience working with multinational, especially German, teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• End‑to‑end PMP process knowledge.
• Experience with embedded engineering projects and unit testing.
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with CAN/J1939 and UDS protocols.
• Use of debugging tools such as JTAG.
• Requirement management tools (ALM, Azure DevOps).
• Automation/scripting languages: Python, VB, C#.
